Product Care & Materials
Every ISAYA piece is handmade in Bali in close collaboration with local tailors and artisans. We work with a mix of carefully selected sustainable fabrics and limited deadstock materials — always choosing quality, softness, and wearability.
We believe that with the right care, your pieces can last for years. Below, you’ll find information about our fabrics and how to care for them.
General Care Tips
-
Wash cold, wear often: We recommend cold hand wash or gentle machine wash in a laundry bag to protect delicate materials.
-
Line dry only: Avoid tumble dryers. Instead, lay flat or hang to dry in the shade.
-
Iron with care: Use a low heat setting and avoid direct heat on delicate fabrics like lace or chiffon. Steam is ideal.
-
Avoid bleach and harsh detergents: Choose a gentle, eco-friendly detergent to protect both your garment and the planet.
-
Leather goods: Keep away from water and moisture. Condition occasionally with a leather balm to keep it soft and supple.
